Wildcats 38-10 Over Redmond, Red Wolves football on opposite ends of blowout results in week two action
Mount Si High School’s football team got to show off something new last night in their first road contest against Redmond, and after a slow start, the Wildcats got comfortable and rolled to a win. Mount Si unveiled new road jerseys and pants for the game, then saw senior quarterback Jonathan “Jo Jo” Hillel do much of the heavy lifting in this one, running for two touchdowns and throwing for two more, as the Wildcats blasted the Mustangs 38-10 at Redmond High School.

Mt. Si 38, Redmond 10 - Jonathan Hillel scored four times for Mt. Si
In a KingCo 4A matchup, Mt. Si had the edge over Redmond 38-10.

Seattle Times Sports - 09.13.14

No Advantage Realized: The Mustangs got three turnovers in the first seven minutes of the game. Despite starting inside Mt. Si’s territory after each one, Redmond managed only Jake Talbot’s 13-yard scoring reception from AJ Rial on a third-and-9 with 6:15 left in the first half. It did give the Mustangs an early 7-0 lead. But it was the last time Redmond would have the advantage.

Hot Potato: Maybe it was slick footballs? It was a beautiful, clear night in Redmond, but the players had trouble handling the football. The Mustangs and Wildcats kept coughing up the ball, especially in the first half. After Mt. Si turned it over three times, Redmond returned the favor. The difference?
